Multimedia Designs is a certified Disabled Veteran-owned Business Enterprise (DVBE) in the state of California. The state of California is committed to promoting the growth of businesses owned by veterans with service-related disabilities. To that end, it has established a 3% DVBE participation goal in contract awards for products and services.  To satisfy this goal, 3% of the qualified value of the contract awarded must be contracted or subcontracted to a certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE).  

Each state agency defines its own particular method for attaining the 3% participation goal.  State agencies are required to report to the governor and the legislature their total DVBE contracting participation and compliance. For every contract that calls for DVBE participation, prime contractors must demonstrate that they have achieved the minimum level of DVBE participation goal or prove that they have made an effort to satisfy that requirement.
